Kimberly's Story
I was born in the rolling hills of upstate New York, where the lush greenery sang with the essence of life, where I found solace in the whispers of the trees and the rhythm of nature.
My mother, an only child from the quaint villages of England and Scotland, carried with her a lineage steeped in healing. Her ancestors were revered in the 60’s and 70’s as healers, celebrated for their gifts in the age that cherished the mystical. Today we would call them Reiki Masters.
My father, on the other hand, had roots in England and immigrated to New England, residing in Carver, Massachusetts. Echos of their herbal remedies and seers offering wisdom lingering back from the old country. They crafted an intricate tapestry of stories of loved ones who had crossed over.
We moved to Longmont, Colorado 3 days before my 13th birthday. It was during this time that my beloved Nanny had passed away, while visiting Colorado for the first time. She was a steadfast source of love and wisdom in my life. I grieved deeply, finding myself lost in the shadows of my Nanny’s absence.
One morning, the sun streamed in through the eastern window of my bedroom, casting a warm glow across my face. I stirred under the covers, wishing to linger in my dreams a bit longer. As I rubbed my eyes and sat up, the golden light morphed into something extraordinary. A vibrant orb, shimmering gold, glided through my window and paused gently at the foot of my bed.
There, in the glowing light, my Nanny appeared, more radiant than I had ever seen her. Her ethereal presence enveloped me in warmth and love. “Do not be angry with God,” my Nanny’s voice echoed. “Though my body rests, I have not truly left you. I am here, watching over you.” As I felt her loving warmth she continued, “God and I want to give you a gift-one that will help you assist and heal others. You have been chosen to connect with those who have crossed the veil.”
At that moment, I felt a rush of understanding wash over me. A world beyond the visual began to unfurl before me. As the vision of my Nanny faded and the light dimmed, I could still feel her love surrounding me, an anchor that grounded me in this newfound purpose.
From that day onward, I embarked on an unprecedented journey into the spiritual realm. I immersed myself in learning, diving into books on angels, mediumship and spirituality, seeking mentorships and workshops, each revealing layers of my own gift.
And so, I continued my mission, nurtured by the light that once graced my bedroom. In the end, I realized I had not only inherited a gift; I had inherited a family legacy that would continue to thrive, healing and connecting souls across lifetimes. The whispers of my ancestors and loved ones sang sweetly, encouraging me to keep illuminating the paths of those in darkness, ensuring that love and the soul never truly dies.
